This is a small bug in version 4.2 of Silhouette Studio that prevents proper communication with our server. Our software team is working hard to properly take care of this and resolve it as soon as they possibly can.
In the meantime, let's get you downgraded to a previous version so we can get you access to your library.
To downgrade to a Legacy version, you may follow the steps below:
Mac
Select the Go menu at the top of the desktop
Select the Applications option
Drag ALL instances of Silhouette Studio to the Trash
**NOTE: Removal should not affect the library or license key (if present)**
Empty the Trash
Install the legacy version of Silhouette Studio® from www.silhouetteamerica.com/software
Will need to select on the arrow next to "Legacy" to view legacy versions
PC
Go to the Start menu
Open the Control Panel
Select the Programs option
Locate and select "Silhouette Studio"
Click on the Remove or Uninstall option
**NOTE: Removal should not affect the library or license key (if present)**
Once successfully removed, re-start the computer
Install the legacy version of Silhouette Studio® from www.silhouetteamerica.com/software
Will need to select on the arrow next to "Legacy" to view legacy versions
Go ahead and install 4.1.479 for me!
